Santander

Walworth Road branch is terrible. I've never known a bank to be shut most of the time. Always a notice on the door about something, always an excuse. Its just too much now, especially for the elderly that can't just go to another branch. I've seen them get upset when they turn up on a Friday to get money for the weekend, to be greated with the famous door notice 🙄. Get more staff santander and sort it out. The only reason I gave it a 1 star was so I could leave a review other wise I wouldn't even give it that.

I looked online for a santander and found Walworth Road branch, it said that they were open until 4.30. I took a bus there only to find a note on the door temporarily closed until further notice. This should have been clear on the Web site

Dreadful service at Walworth Road branch. Went to try to straighten out a mess they've made of my accounst which they couldn't help with on the phone. On the phone they said local branch can sort things out. Arrived at branch and can't even go in the door... am told, at the door, that I have to make an appointment to see anyone. It does not say this on the website and is pretty pathetic service for a building society. Add to this the surly attitude on their man on the door.

Like many of the reviews are stating, the branch was closed 'due to unforseen circumstances ' yet again today

If you are putting money in double check its the right amount. £200 was missing after a deposit I made with the cashier and only noticed after I left. Very often there is only one cashier working creating a long queue. Some of the staff are very friendly and some are not!

Absolutely disgusted by this branch, reading the reviews i can see most people are having the same issue. Open and close when and as they like.

Website says Open but when you reach there, hand written note say STORE CLOSED. Utter rubbish.

The Walworth Road branch keeps opening and closing without warning. Its closed today (Saturday 14th August 2021) The staff are working at the Brixton branch! As a disabled person I find it very annoying. They keep blaming Covid 19, its about time they found some way of working around the virus, if the staff get the virus they should bring in temporary staff NOT close the branch that many people rely on.
