My account got blocked more than 2 weeks ago, they told me wait 10 working days for it to be solved. Called today after 10 working days and now I have to wait for a letter posted to me with "further details". Another excuse to do nothing for another few more days and try to make me not call them.

I'm lucky kept a bit of spare money somewhere else, I'm sorry for all those who were not that "lucky".

I don't get how a transfer made by myself from another UK bank can be so difficult to "investigate". I'm advising all my friends and family to move to other banks.

The money I saved working so hard for years is worth nothing for you. Best costumer service ever, thanks.

Please do not use this brunch, if you wish to open a Bank account for your business, I was 5 weeks waiting. Emailing and calling almost every day, no answer and no bank account.
In HSBC took me less them 3 weeks.
The service and efficiency of this brunch is ridiculous, reckless and unprofessional.

Branch is always full of reasonably friendly staff members ready to assist. Only discrepancy I had, last month when I took money to the bank and mistakenly without realising I gave £10 over the amount noted. I haven't left £10 anywhere behind but took £10 from elsewhere by mistake and actually included into the bunch of money I have taken to the cashier. When I realised this, I went back on the next day and requested to check discrepancies on the till from the last night but they have found non and they couldn't tell me any findings from their cctv cameras from the inside of the branch which made little vexed. I obviously blame myself for not rechecking and recounting before giving cash to the cashier but as a customer in the bank I expected little more intergrity, mistake to be learned - triple count all the notes!

After horrendous treatment at Brixton branch, this branch of Barclays was excellent, treated as if you mattered to them. Sorted my problem and couldn't have been more courteous, what l expect from my bank.

Horrendous customer service. I’m not even a customer, just happened to use their card machine when it went out of order and couldn’t get my card back. Ridiculously long queue in the bank, very little communication from staff. The atm was also so disgusting and dirty.

I have banked with Barclays for a long time but, in recent years, have only been able to use this Clapham High Street branch. To be fair, the staff were VERY nice and the Manager always greeted me personally by name when he was there but the friendliest of staff can never make up for the LACK of counter-staff... I have stood in the (grubby) lobby of this bank branch for over 30 minutes on many occasions because there is always more counters closed than open and that includes the business counter thar is supposed to be open all the time. Matters are made worse when a customer has a very complex query or multiple transactions; in these instances the staff should herald them towards the many desk-based staff who literally sit there doing nothing in full view of a lobby that has queues going out of the door! I've raised the issue many times but it's NEVER changed and, from recent interactions with new and much ruder/more aggressive staff, I understand that the branch is closing permanently so the nearest alternative branch(es) will be Clapham Junction and/or Brixton which is not good enough and so, after 20 years, I will switch bank, away from Barclays to one that offers decent in-branch and online service.

I was recently in an unpleasant situation due to online bank fraud and Lateef Kayode was able to professionally and compassionately solve all my problems, returning any lost money and getting my account up and running. I had a very pleasant experience, I would wholeheartedly recommend the branch.

Abysmal service on two separate occasions and two separate matters in experiences by my wife and myself. Totally obstructive and unhelpful with both matters, which both had to be sorted out elsewhere, taking up a great deal of additional time.
