Lloyds Bank

Poor service when I went to open a business account. After being informed about what paperwork would be needed, they forgot crucial items so I needed an additional visit.

I was eager to change to them, but then the staff member involved went on holiday and dropped the ball, nothing happened until he returned and I had to remind him to get things started.

Needless to say I remained with my previous bank.

Shamefully under staffed. It's a horrendous waiting time each time. But only before 15h30, because after it's closed. Thank you Llloyds for closing more and more branches leaving half of them open only until 3.30pm. We always have the option to queue for hours in the few remaining ones open until 5. Lloyds,: no little greed.

This is a great branch. The staff is extremely helpful and lovely. They take the time to explain everything to you and just have an excellent service. Elena Demosthenous was the banking consultant I spoke to and I’m very grateful for the patience and amount of time she dedicated to me and my account. Much appreciated.

Spent 1.5 hours here trying (and failing) to open a simple joint account during which the bank staff member tried to sell us different products we expressedly previously declined over the phone, and then carelessly mixed up our bank account numbers - opening the wrong account. The final nail in the coffin was their software crashing meaning they hard to start over again a third time. I would avoid this branch as they seemed to struggle with this basic task.

Thank you to Deborah for the excellent customer service . Your patient and caring approach is appreciated . This was one of the best Lloyds Bank branches i have been too on my visit to the UK.

Very kind and hard working staff! It’s a busy branch so keep that in mind if you’re in a hurry, but I’d say it’s worth the wait :)

CLOSES AT 15:30 and doesn't open on Saturdays?! WTH?! What century are we living in? Is the war still on? Bloody dark ages if you ask me! Selwyn is this branch's only saving grace! The manager is SO arrogant! He really loves himself. The rest of the staff are rude, unhelpful and disgustingly nosey! What alternative parallel universe are some of these other reviewers visiting because it's not this branch!
