The branch is open and spacious allowing excellent access for disabled people.
There are cash and deposits machines inside the branch which saves queuing up at the solitary ATM outside.
There are two cashier positions enclosed by glass which are normally manned. Occasionally if the queues do get too big another staff member will ask people waiting in the queue if they are just waiting to pay in a cheque or indeed will open an auxiliary till.
Others of members of staff are always available to answer queries and questions.

Never any staff working, queues are ridiculous at what is suppose to be quiet times, if you live in bromsgrove do not bank with barclays, you will be waiting forever

Queued for twenty minutes today and had to give up and leave as nobody in the queue had been seen and there were six people in front of me and I had to be somewhere. Two windows open but only one person seemed to be working and then they were having some kind of problem so nothing was happening.
There is a machine there which says you can pay in cheques, i tried this and it had no option/screen which would let me do this. While trying this the queue got longer.
And Barclays are closing this branch because they say it isn't used enough? Maybe people are trying to use it and giving up!
I am looking into moving banks as Barclays clearly don't want my custom with the latest round of extra fees and making it as difficult as possible to communicate with them or to access their services.

However nice the branch staff may be, Barclays is the worst bank in Europe for driving climate breakdown, funnelling billions into fossil fuel expansion and refusing even to set a date for stopping financing coal, despite its 'green' pledges.
