This morning, I was waiting in line and could not stand any longer. I asked the assistant, Pat, if she could help me, which she and another lady did. They were immensely kind and helpful, not just to me but to another elderly frail lady on a walking stick.
They deserve lots of thanks and appreciation for their kindness.
Kindness needs to be thanked and I think the Ealing branch should be lauded for their staff’s thoughtfulness.

The most ridiculous branch ever visited! Only 2 or 3 staff working and always over crowded to which they never care.. you will have to wait 3 hours just for a small work aswell. I would suggest to everyone that better go to any other branch than wasting you time here.

I was in the bank in the morning, the queue was small, I wanted to arrange a loan, but I was in work clothes, the lady who was supposed to be helpful to the customers ignored me as if I was not there, when I asked she said that I could not talk to anyone because I had no appointment even though the staff were not busy with other people. Ridiculously understaffed. Waited in line to drop off some documents needed to open up an account. Very old school ways of working. Documents need to be photocopied and posted like we’re in the 90s. Why should I pay for postage to open up a bank account. Crazy!

Had the misfortune to visit this branch with my aged mother on 2 occasions . Queues all the way to the entrance with only 2 out of 3 counters open on both visits. A lot of elderly customers have long waits to get served. The branch manager is invisible and the the staff are totally unmoved by the length of the queues. Absolutely terrible experience.

I've been a customer of Santander for over 20 years and have to say that the general level of service has deteriorated considerably over that time. I have seriously considered closing my account there on multiple occasions. Like all of these types of bank I now have to travel further because my local branch, which was always well used was closed down. I often find that after travelling the extra distance either the cash machines are not working correctly, the queues can be ne long (probably because of the extra people having to travel there) and if you need to speak to a manager then you can be left waiting quite some time for the same reason. My only conclusion is that the emphasis now is on consolidation of profits over customer service. The main positive is that many of the staff in customer facing positions are very friendly and helpful wherever they can be,

If I could give minus stars I would. Every time I try and go to this branch there is a huge queue and one member of staff. In order to try and save time I attempted to deposit a cheque into one of the cash machines. It took rhe cheque, didn't register it and then told me it was returning my cheque whilst making lots of noise without physically returning it.
If you like wasting your time and losing your money come to this branch!
