I have found the colleagues in this branch to be very helpful on a number of occasions, on a variety of circumstances.
The only downside can be the queues!

Really friendly colleagues and in this branch they have the electronic machines to do your day to day banking quickly and efficiently. Or if you need other help, there is a counter service

Just tried to book an appointment to sort out a mortgage but not able to see anyone until 4th April
Staff in the branch are too stretched and no direct phone number is offered on their web site

been to several branches and every single one has been unhelpful. At this branch I was helped immediately and i was done within 10 minutes. Huge thank you to Lily who worked incredibly hard and helped me. Excellent customer service skills and very professional.

Would rate 0 stars if I could.Staff are pleasant but but obviously restricted by new 'digital' way of banking.I wanted to make an ISA inquiry and had to sit in a queue to see one person who seemed to be doing every query and there must have been a lot of them based on the queue. Nat West a lot more efficient and seem to have a lot more floor staff who are able to do tasks other than floating around helping people on new digital machines.Their floating staff was one person

I went in to inform them of my mother's death. No empathy, just told I would have to wait in the queue to see someone. I asked how long the wait would be and the reply was...could be half hour or an hour, just sit there or go and get a coffee and if no one else comes in, you'll be able to sit back in those seats.

Went out for coffee and come back about 15mins later. Sat and waited for approx half hour or more, there was absolutely no interaction from the staff.

Gave up and left and headed home and completed the Bereavement form on line. At times like this, a bit of personal interaction means so much.

Prior to going to Barclays, I visited Natwest first. The minute I walked through the door, the assistant asked how she could help. When I said my mum passed away, she showed empathy and I was immediately taken to a quiet office and another assistant come to talk me through everything and dealt with all the paperwork efficiently and with care.

The difference between the two banks was like night and day and once I have sorted everything for my mum, I will definitely be closing my own Barclays account and moving to Natwest

I'd like to give zero if I can.
They have change the hours due to pandemic, and even decided to close on Wednesdays completely. The operating hours are from 9 till 2 , which means long lines of people desperate to use bank services . How this is helping with pandemic when line of people are waiting outside together for a long time ? Once I even been told that if I need to actually "speak" with someone regarding my account it may take really long time and even then It's not guaranteed. Absurd follow another absurd.
To keep branch "safe" there is only two people working at the shift and obviously they are not able to meet customers need , at such a busy place ! This is a high street, there always be many people who are in a need of service! Please re-think and open the bank properly! With longer hours more people can be served and there will be no need for long line of people waiting outside!
