Just started working here, and I love it! A STUNNING building, made to the highest standards and meticulously maintained. Every member of staff is professional: the employees, the cleaners, the security guards, all are extremely well presented and very polite. And the building itself is a sight to behold, and inside looks beautiful, modern, and spacious. If they didn't close, I'd never leave!

Really rude staff. Shouted at me and verbally abused me, just exactly like how they treated their other customers. They’ve got used to this way to deal with their customers and don’t know what “providing good customer services” means.

After several years as a loyal client. I've got a severe disappointment. I have been stolen thousands of money by a fraudulent activity and the bank not only refused to refund me but did completely nothing for investigate and try to get my money back from the other corrupted company which received my money. So I advise to use a different bank which will surely put in place the CRM code.

Absolutely horrendous dxpericenece today . I visited this brand today the 13th of September 2022 at 13:15 pm . After waiting in the queue for several minutes my turn finally came . I recently opened my account online sp although I received my card but haven’t received my PIN yet . The main reason for my visit was to set up my mobile app . The South Indian lady who was working behind the counter was utterly annoyed when I told her about my issues. In front of me she made this face and asked her male colleague if he knew how to do it which he said he couldn’t . Then she annoyingly asked me if I opened my account recently and if I opened online . I said yes and she was like okay you need a physical ID so we can confirm your identity which I understood. Throughout the whole process she looked really annoyed and didn’t even say thank you to me when I thanked her for her service . Anyway I came home and tried myself to set to mobile banking online . And guess what ! I could set it up without any ID with just my Barclays card and my DOB . If she is working here she should know that . She didn’t even try she didn’t even look at my mobile phone and straight away looked annoyed . How do these people get jobs there if they don’t even know customer service . No smile no thank you no please nothing . She needs more training !

I needed to queue for a banker with the branch. Whilst the 40mins wait to be seen to is disappointing in itself, it is the customer service that is appaling

There were 2 front of house staff members, 1 of whom told me there were 4 bankers on duty. The banker who saw me eventually actually came up to the front 5mins before seeing me and helped with front of house duties and the 3 also chatted along. I raised a complaint that banker staff should be directed to serve customers as soon as they are free only for the manager to tell me that is what they do without listenjng to my concerns that is not what happened

Awful customer service. Spoke to 3 members of staff today and when they were unable to answer my question they all hung up.
The last person went as far as shouting at me and hung up (names can be provided). Unprofessional and embarrassing.

I hope management look at these reviews and will be in touch to help me with my querie. Waiting for 30mins to speak to someone is understandable, it’s a busy time, but when you get in touch and get hung up on is unbelievable.

I am writing from Kenya - we transferred money from our local bank to Barclays Bank UK on 7th of November, 2022. As per our bank Barclays bank has rejected the money without giving any reason. I wrote many mails to our partner company but nothing happened. Even our bank have very little.

By today is more than 2 two weeks that Barclays is not replying. In fact our partner from UK also wrote to them but as per UK team is saying that Barclays bank will take five days to resolve the issue. Now it is more than 14 days as no one came to help us..

The worst bank ever. I'm using Uber credit card and have over 5,000 points, but they don't redeem it. When I go to my bank account, the redemption button was intentionally hidden and I cannot redeem it. I asked the contact center more than five times, but the problem is unsolved. I feel like I'm in trouble with fraud. I strongly recommend not to use Barclays.
