queued up for over 40 mins to get served at the business counter to get some change while in the que was asked do i need to be in this que and 2 staff on Self service tills WHY 1 could have helped on the counter very bad way to treat customers

Shambles if your going to replace counters with machines you need more than one machine working, regularly broken and not taking notes, also I don't care but your 40+ clientele (the ones with lots of money and mortgages) much prefer being able to doing there banking via a real person - I think having one human manned counter you can't even pay cash into with limited service is very silly

Just went, really awful, half the machines don’t have the notes you want and won’t accept deposits of coins. Awful, the staff are super aggressive pushing you towards till, long lines, at both ends. Seriously people don’t know where to line up, expect banking to take 15 minutes but a minimum of 45 minutes wait after 9.30am, just an awful branch. Seriously get more cashier staff. That 1 cashier women is doing so much work, compared to the rest. The bank has really hit its lowest standard. Better to go post office where service is quick and the staff genuinely cares and have the notes. Awful waiting time, sometimes you have to lean against a wall, or just ask strangers are you in the queue. More Barclays staff are standing around doing very basics work, and the cashier lady is the real star and hard worker of the branch. But positive side, good time to work for a bank as a machine helper, super easy job. But can you imagine cash machines that doesn’t have the notes you need but the hopeless staff push you that way. Go to the cashier and the banking will be done properly.

Janet & Andre gave me the absolute worst customer experience i have ever received from a bank.
I went In seeking help as none of my debit cards would work and I had no way of using my contactless to get home.
Andre told me to “chill” in the most rudest way I have ever been spoken to. I told him “please don’t tell me as a customer to chill” to which he stared at me and spoke to me in the most unfriendly way possible. Beyond condescending and discrimination to a young girl thinking he can speak to me like that.
Janet was faffing about and so difficult to understand and deal with.
The communication between them both was horrid, Andre telling her what to do in the most rudest way possible.
Never ever will I go into this branch again to seek help. I also Informed the manager as I was leaving.
Awful customer experience from Barclays.
Andre needs to be looked at a customer representative I wouldn’t ever want someone to be spoken to the way I was as a young girl.

Worse Barclays Branch I ever visited, queues start on the street. Only three machines and one Cashier. Sometimes no Cashier, just the machines. Every time I visit one of the machines is broken. Waiting times can go from 15 to 30 minutes.

Absolutely terrible service. So unhelpful both the ladies working there on the weekend. No till open on Saturday to make matters worse.

I needed some help with my Banking/statements and Claire went out of the way to help me with this today. I thoroughly appreciate and would like to thank Claire for all the help in the time of lockdown. Keep it up Barclays Sutton team. You are all doing a wonderful Job . I have been banking with Barclays For the last 10 years and I am delighted I have done so.
