Came here to become their customer, but waited for 20 min without seeing a single stuff, despite there was a queue. And then cancelled my appointment 3 times out of 4, I made 3 trips in vain. Either not telling me a reason but just a "have to", or when I showed up then got informed that there was no one receiving me, or told me the appointment was yet cancelled again when I was 2 min away from the branch already without calling me earlier or leaving a voice mail to me earlier.

I am really impressive by this. I've been banking with quite a few different banks, but HSBC opens my mind to see a bank can be such an astonishment.

The branch seems to specialise in digital services. I went in as I had trouble with the app. Got sorted within 5 minutes with no issues and super friendly service. First guy who spotted me was attentive and quickly got someone to look at my issue. Was then passed to a guy called Darren who was jolly and friendly and got my app up and running. Best HSBC branch I've been in, to be honest.

Despite the displayed opening hours I went there last Friday 09/07 and the agency was closed because of what seemed to be under works. This opening hours info need to be updated asap.

Not helpful, might as well stayed home and talked the machine online.
As I have never done international transactions, and this particular one came with 2 different SWIFTs (in instructions) I came to this branch for help.
Snappy answers, very direct, I would say rude making you feel stupid while having smile on ladies face.

Unless you are 70+ don't bother coming here. They seem to treat elderly with lots of patience and respect which was nice to see, but if you are young or middle aged their tone changes.

Muswell Hill branch with no counter service. Two or three HSBC Staff standing behind a podium dealing with banking issues mainly to do with online banking or account queries. There's no counter so you can't cash a cheque or get foreign money or a large cash withdrawal. It's just automated banking machines. Many elderly people can't use these machines and rely on a counter-service.
With more and more banks closing branches I expect the days of counter-service are numbered. Still, nice easy job for the staff who generally are of a much lower standard than the staff of yesteryear.

A pleasant branch with polite helpful staff. It's not possible to dial through or speak to the branch directly. I guess the person who was kept waiting was dialing or speaking to the main HSBC number with the automatic voice which can only deal with certain questions.

I submitted online application for credit card which was not processed within a week. I came to this branch for help (N10 3RX) and they said I need to sign some papers online or via app and that I should call support to proceed with creadit card application. I explicitly asked - can they help me somehow as I came to the branch personally. They said - no. I spent 40 minuted trying to each support by the phone and they said I need to come back to the branch and sign papers offline! Awful and unprofessional service.

Good morning this morning i went to HSBC Muswell Hill Branch because i had some problems for Log in in my banck account online i am so grateful at two agents they are working in this branch in particular Mr Eugen is amazing and his collegue they helped me step by step. I advice this branch absolutely and thank you for your help. Thank a lot
