Lloyds Bank

I tried to open a bank account here and it was painful. I got mixed information from different staff and wasted time and patience. But at the same time, I got some apparently genuine sorry from a senior attendant after they finally accepted my application. They should be more welcoming to new clients. Hopefully, I will never need to go back to the branch and use services online.

Either they shut this bank down or do something drastic as the general public cannot be standing for 45 minutes in a queue watching the day go by because the staff are limited in numbers and awfully slow. Peak times are the worst! I went over to HSBC and was met by staff almost immediately. In the lewisham branch it’s terrible. No manager on site and people literally sleeping at the cashiers till because they’ve come into the bank for a matter that should be handled either in the office with an advisor. So far I’ve been in the bank since 11.15am and it’s now 11.53am. They should have left the Sydenham branch open.

An experience with one member of staff who was rude and dismissive. Need retraining on basic customer service and learn to be patient with anyone who may be disabled or need guidance or advice. Customer service is the most basic skill someone can learn at work...

Worst experience ever, not helpful at all. Even if you just need some paper statement

The Manager of this branch in Lewisham ( A Stern Chauvinist White Male Who Has A Problem With People Of Colour, Even Though He Works In An Urban Area) Is the rudest unapproachable individual you could ever come across, he is rude, arrogant and no help whatsoever. He clearly is not happy with his post and should move on.

Unbelievable staff are not helpful, if you ask your money from your account they try to not give asking to many mad security questions even if you not ask a big amount

Rude staff. Some of them even short change you and talk to their mates while handling your money. Go to ones in Central London if you looking for good customer service. That's all I can say.
