Extremely disappointed.

Me and my wife spent over an hour to open a joint bank account. Our documents were all scanned, etc.. (by Adam) and we were told that we would receive the rest of the details by post. We waited more than two months and did not hear anything at all. They don't have direct number and Natwest (online number) couldn't contact them either suggesting us to go to the branch again. After struggling to take a day off work, we went there and we were told that Adam will call us to let us know what needs to be done. It has been a week now, we haven't received any phone call either.

Would definitely not recommend this bank. Waste of time.

Is it Nat West policy to only have 1 counter open at a time? Can't remember the last time I went to a branch with more than 1 counter open.

Very helpful at Oxted but employees must find it almost as frustrating when there are 4 of them but only 1 serving customers.

If you are behind a customer who needs to do anything which is not simple you just have to wait and maybe chat to the employees who are not able to help if they are not behind the counter.

Presume when customers have given up visiting, the bank will then close the branch because it is not used.

What a joke who had the bright idea of putting the most unhelpful and rude member of your staff as a cashier.

You have plenty of friendly staff so why put that stoney face old cow up front.
I only use the the machine for paying in it's much friendlier.

Also update your opening times........

Had a day off work and needed to pay in coins. The machine was broken. They couldn't tell me when it would fixed. I asked if we could do it over the counter as I'd driven from Edenbridge to use the facility and they said no, I would have to come back.

I've tried to find a direct line to thier branch to call and ask if the machine was working.

Of course not. Natwest are regressing as a bank. Next we'll have to withdraw money with a book and only pay with cheques!!

We spent almost half an hour waiting on 5 people ahead in queue in the Oxted branch this morning, my husband had three cheques to pay in while I wanted to stop a standing order! Husband paid in cheques by then I had had enough so my standing order stays!! We're both in our 80s and online is a pain!!! Mrs D S Compton TN86LH.

What a terrible bank I’m in been with you for over 60years cannot get to talk to anyone!! Tried to phone can’t get through just music, music, music. I’ve now wasted two hours trying to deal with you. Given up!!!!!!,

I am appalled at the attitude and rudeness of the staff at the Nat West in Oxted. Due to my working hours my elderly mum takes my cheques and cash in to the bank every week.They have installed a machine that can do this but my mum finds this difficult. Understandably technology isn't her strong point ! (she is nearly 87). The staff have made her feel uncomfortable to dam well insulted by their remarks and actions.As individuals they should be ashamed of the way they have spoken to her.Needless to say I am closing my account of at least 17 years and moving it further up the high street.

Went in to pay a cheque in. One queue for machine. No tellers. The manager was helping the lady who was struggling with the machine. No other staff could help us. Dreadful.
