Been sitting here for past 30 minutes waiting for staff to set up the system while they are chatting away. If the bank is open for public at 9 it means you have to be available yo entertain us then. Very disappointed. Was one of their first customers of the day and am still waiting to be addressed. long waiting lines further in the day are understandable. But early morning wait?
Sorry to say but you really need to upgrade your services.
3 stars cause despite the slow service the Staff is friendly helpful and efficient in thier work. Also, once you get started then you end up with your card in hand

I've been to Metro three times, each time having to wait over an hour to seen. The first time my documents were out of date. The second time I had the documents they asked for, but was told I needed extra documentation. The third time I went they said they couldn't accept the document they ask for and also told I couldn't use a document they had already accepted. I opened a Monzo account in less than 10 minutes, using the same documentation.

Got charged twice by a company every month and metro bank made me send months of emails to and from the company all bank transactions and invoices made me write a cover letter then done absolutely nothing about it so they refused to cancel the payments going to a company I told them I didn't set up so I had to close my account and use a different bank. If you get any disputes with people taking your money this bank won't do anything to help you. Just go elsewhere!

I just had an amazing customer service from Wania. She was super professional and courteous. She actioned a solution promptly and solved the login details issue.

Brilliant bank...staff is really polite and very helpful and welcoming...always happy to help and listen what I am saying...I can talk to them for hours...10/10 from me.😊❤️❤️💯

Rude older lady with glasses and a bob refused to let me use a plug socket to charge my phone whilst I had a 30 minute wait for a replacement card . Said with a smirk on her face no and that it’s company policy because it’s a bank ,I mention being allowed every other time in this branch and she just continued smirking and said no.
Not quite sure if she thinks using a bank’s electricity will somehow link me to their system but either way she should be educated that it cannot link me to the system and also be educated in how to talk to people without being rude and condescending. I hope she has the life she deserves .

Croydon Branch:: Absolute stupid staff, including the manager!!
They ask business owners to go there directly to get change! No other banks have these stupid rules. Long queues always and staff don't much worry about it. No other branches have asked us to send the owner to collect coins! Ridiculous services!!!
