My first experience visiting the Southgate branch, greeted by Umar 👍🏻 Made me feel valued and assisted me to the IDM as the counter had a queue, Excellent customer service provided by Umar who also exceeded my expectations by setting up online banking so I can deposit my cheque next time via Online Banking.

Excellent service by Umar, very nice gentleman. Explains everything in detail, I am happy to start banking with Halifax. My sister is looking to come back and switch her bank account.

Halifax bank in sautgate has one of the best workers . All friendly especially Umar was very professional he helped me all the way . Now i have an account with halifax

Please do not waste your time at this branch. Terrible, rude and incompetent service from Hassan. Lied directly to us and did nothing in the allocated appointment time. Claimed we only had a 15 minute slot as we'd only booked that day- both of which were lies. Even when he was proved wrong, he refused to apologise. His rudeness, arrogance and incompetence were award winning.

Always doing their best. Hard working and aiming for good service. When Casey was manager there, she was five star exceptional, going beyond to help me and our Ukrainian refugees. They struggle with understaffing sometimes, especially since all the other banks have closed in Southgate. I recommend going in a quiet time.

Reason why I give Halifax ( Chase side SOUTHGATE) branch a 1star is cos they are soooooo LAZY (One particular lady) what’s the point in having a human cashier and they just fob you off and tell you to use the pay in machines??? Helllo…. There are no customers in the branch why are you so lazy to count Money !!!! Reason why I DO NOT LIKE to use the machine is when the money is not straight or has a slight bend it rejects the money making more time wasted…. Just don’t understand every time I go into the branch the cashier is LAZY… the receptionist is really nice (Blonde hair lady) she always gives a nice smile it’s just the other lady not gonna mention any race age or hair colour or not gonna upload her photo 🤣 all I can say is lazy and not bothered. Even the staff said you can deposit cash across the road in the POST OFFICE …
It’s just disappointing cos this branch is convenient for me and going into here makes me feel unhappy.
