Rude, unhelpful cashier staff. The opening times do not cater well to those who work a 9-5 job.

You rush to get there and leave work earlier, try to use the machines but no assistance offered, ask to pay in via the cashier desk but are told to use the machines even though it wouldn't accept notes 3 times.

Just wanted to pay money in, but instead get attitude and told well we're closing in a minute! Not all the staff were bad, two listened to my concerns upon leaving agreeing their co-workers have poor attitudes.

I get it, we all want to go home in time, it's not our fault we can't leave work during the day just to suit your opening hours.

Very rude and unprofessional staff. I was sent away with nothing but the next day I had everything sorted at the branch in town. Don't waste your time. It's best to go into town where the staff actually know what they are doing.

Just walked out. Cheque machine not working staff truly not interested. Some customers were allowed to queue jump because they new staff members.

Just so you are aware we were the ones on crutches. The worst service, worst branch I have ever been to in 46 years of banking with Midland/HSBC.

Went in today to open a bank account for a Ukrainian lady who currently only has her visa and passport. I personally do not bank with them, but after terrible service at Lloyds we thought it was worth asking if they could help.

Turns out all we needed was the visa and passport, my passport and council tax bill, and a letter to say she was living at my address. One hour later, and with the help of the staff, the bank account was open and online banking all set up and logged in to. Excellent service, staff were friendly, very helpful, and keen to ensure everything was explained in full. We found it really useful that they went through downloading and logging into the app with us rather than just doing the basics. Highly recommend - thank you.

Absolute rubbish! The branch might as well close for the lack of facilities available. I lose count of the amount of times I go in to try and pay in money to my account and the 1 and only paying in machine for cash is always unavailable!
The staff often seem away with the fairies too.

I had a new bank set up a new business account after suffering for a long time with my old business account with another bank for many years I’m really happy with my new bank and branch really helpful staff as they helped me use the paying In Machine which I was really struggling with great staff great branch 👍🏻

Fantastic team at this branch. The Manager Jit Koria was able to prevent an attempt at defrauding my elderly father for which my father and I are both very grateful. Thank you.

Only one machine to pay in notes. Three customers all doing say (can imagine this is only service people use in banks).

Two cashier's doing nothing but you can't use them for paying in apparently.

There's 4 machines to pay in cheques!!! I assume the manger took this plan from the 90s.

When you finally do get your turn on the cash machine it beeps away. Snatches at your cash and then spits some out. You try again but then says you was too slow. You don't get a receipt for first moneyso it's blind faith it's in your account.

Only reason it gains a second star is because there is bike parking right outside
