I AM SURPRISED THAT PEOPLE ACTUALLY BANK WITH BARCLAY'S, I WANTED TO OPEN AN ACCOUNT AND THEY DO NOT HAVE AN APPOINTMENT FOR MORE THEN 1 MONTH AS ALL THEIR ADVISERS ARE BUSY!!!!!

I WENT TO NATIONWIDE WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT, AND HAD THE ACCOUNT OPENED WITH 1/2 HOUR

I am absolutely disgusted by the treatment my husband and I have received the Southgate branch today. He went into close his help to buy ISA and was not given a closing statement meaning we will lose out on a £400 bonus. The staff did not seem to know what a help to buy ISA is, and seemed indifferent to the fact their lack of knowledge will cost us hundreds of pounds. We need a closing statement to take to our solicitors and without it we cannot claim the 25% government bonus. Won't be banking with Barclays anymore

One of the worst experiences with banks thanks to their ignorant branch/lazy members.

I would definitely select that!
I absolutely agree what other reviews say here.
Stay AWAY from this branch if you do not want to lose time, money, days off your job trying to make any point with these rude staff members.

Better go to the Nationwide branch and you save the day for yourself to more important/family stuff.

Staff there are always helpful, although they would benefit from having additional staff when it gets a little busier.

I tried to go to my local southgate branch to pay cash into my account so that my mortgage wouldn't be in arreas and have fear of losing my house due to non payment of my mortgage and bad credit. I checked the bank's website and found they were open till at least 4 p.m. I arrived at my bank at 1.15 p.m. after queuing at my supermarket for over an hour. After queuing outside at Barclays for over half an hour when I got to the entrance I was told by a member of Barclays staff that there was a pandemic and she couldn't let me in. She was a junior member of staff and I pleaded with her that I had cash to pay in towards my mortgage which I needed to pay. She offered no assistance or sympathy or any helpful alternatives. This is not the way to treat customers particularly when you can not empathize towards someone losing their home.
Disgusted with this attitude and if I could give less than one star, I would !

I have see all of them just coming around and eating i was waiting 2 hours just to see a person with can help me to order a new cart

Always short staffed, waiting to get into a bank for over an hour. Ridiculous
