Very disappointed with service and rude lady on counter. Questioned in an unfriendly Manor why I hadn't used the machine to pay a cheque in. Got told I would have to do this in future as it would be a "business" counter only. Was made to feel a nuisance. Customers used to have choices and be treated with courtesy. Not any more.

Staff are fine but where is the management? queue complaints today while I was waiting, gave up will try again on Monday

Absolutely lifesavers! I had lost my wallet in the highstreet and the staff went out of their way to call me to return it really helpful and friendly thank you guys! God bless

Barclays have gone right down in my estimation. They have closed so many branches and the ones left have so few staff it takes forever to be served. Basically they penalise everyone who does not do online banking!!! Very dissatisfied!!!

Today my father and I went to Barclays to open an account and one of the ladies assisting us was rude and unprofessional, (unfortunately I cannot remember her name but she was working the afternoon shift around 1pm, middle aged and had shoulder length, black, wavy hair.)

She was horrible to my father and disrespectful- asking many questions that were unnecessary as well as the fact she kept on blatantly undermining both of our intelligence in an obviously snarky manner.

She had a disgusting attitude and gave an awful customer service as it was my first time there. Behaviour like this cannot be tolerated in a working environment dealing with customers. I am unsure if she had a bias towards my father and I as we are of African heritage as she was not acting like this with the other Caucasian customers.

As someone who has English as a second language the manner of how we were treated was unjust and unacceptable as there was little tolerance given with patience and understanding from this lady.

The Barclays staff should clearly be given training on customer service.

First time opening a bank account, what a shame.

Terrible customer service. They should just close the branches and tell people to move to another bank. That might be their strategy anyway. Nothing can be done at the branch. You need their app or call center. Not sure why these people are still working in branches. Simple things are made complex by rude staff with attitude.
