The branch and the staff are ok. I just don't like the fact that there is no counter service for taking out cash when extra amount is needed.

Disorganised workflows. Queue for ¾h to be told to take a seat and wait ½h! This is just to hand in completed forms to be scanned!

The branch & area managers need to review what the first contact team is doing. If they are supposed to triage, conduct preparation checks and prioritise customers then they shouldn't also be serving. It seems that they try and fix things themselves that perhaps can be rapidly sorted but when it transpires that the solution isn't imminent, they should transfer the customer to the ordinary queue and see to the next customer in line.

Further these first contact staff are not giving out 100% accurate information and this is causing repeat visits, which you'll gather from the diatribe above, is nothing to which anyone will look forward.

On the plus side, because the optimist in me shall not be quelled, this waiting period confers sufficient time to reflect and post a review.

I had to do an urgent huge transfer, I reached the branch and half an hour later I left with the problem solved thanks to Vin who was professional and prompt to help! Since I open my account with this Bank I had constantly nice experiences and the people are incredibly nice!

Really disappointed in the service at Edgware. I've been a HSBC customer for 14 years, travelled over an hour to pay money into my account despite train cancellations and bad weather. Was sent to the post office which was closed even though what I needed to do would only take 3 minutes. I was travelling with a toddler in a push chair and it's a huge shame that HSBC staff do not show compassion or care. Moving all my money to another bank that actually values its customers.

I really appreciate their customer service. In this branch their team members are very friendly. Miss Baljeet Chane handled my problem and quickly solved it. So i am really thankful to her and HSBC staff. Thank you very much.

Currently a HSBC account holder, went in to open a join account with my husband. Had a E~On bill with credit, the guy would not accept it as an utility bill because it was not debit. Wanted to open a saving account for myself, could not, the guy said I needed an NI number for this., Since when you need NI number? Not mentioned on its own website. What the heck is this Branch? Useless, not helpful at all, and make up some excuses for not to do what I requested for. Couldn't do it online either, waited live chat for hours and no agent available. HSBC is not worth your time and money. Planning to close all my accounts with them.

What is the point of a bank with no cashier. Its basically a store that explains how to use your app...surely youtube could do this. What a waste of store. They either need to close the store or bring back cashiers! I now have to travel to Harrow as my next closest store with a cashier. This is a bank that is redundant and its work is done by an app.

Useful for paying cash and cheques in but no use if you want to withdraw money as they don't have a counter service. If you need more than the £300 cashpoint limit you have to ask to increase the limit to £1000 (though this will be dispensed in £20s not £50s). If you need more than £1000 you have to go to a different branch. Bit of a pain if I'm honest.
