Great that it is open to till 2pm on a Saturday. Not great that the staff were lazy and kept suggesting I do everything online as they literally could not be bothered to do what I was requesting. Inadequate responses to basic questions. Really dissapointing. Natwest might as well go exclusively online if this is the level of service.

It took us a month trying to open a children's current account and still heard nothing after 2 weeks of going to the branch with all the ID documents etc. After finally visiting the branch again to inquire what was happening, we found that they lost the application in the branch, with all the copied ID. No apology, just a suggestion to go through the whole process again. We have now opened an account elsewhere.

I took my little boy to open his very first bank account today. What a terrible experience!
I don't bank with Natwest, however after reading about the teen account, I thought perfect for my son.
We actually went there in this stormy weather to be told you have to complete the online application then you will be given a reference number to then go back into branch, together with passport, birth certificate and a family bill
When we went back the cashier who was very conscious of the time as it was 1.30, they close at 2pm, said it would not be completed today due to the time and it would take two of them to check over the ID given.
I was so annoyed by this stage and my son was extremely disappointed that this would not be processed today.
As she was making copies she than said to me as I am the adult that is with my son to open the account she would need my ID also, which I did not have.
I asked for all our papers back and left.

I will be opening a Nationwide account for him instead. The customer experience was ZERO!!!

Very helping minded staffs and very patient with vulnerable customers. The lady at the counter is very friendly and discussed such available products for my needs.

If this bank is only open from 9.30-3.30 on weekdays when most people are at work and shut on Saturdays and Sundays…how will most working people use this bank?
Every service in this country is just getting worse and worse.
