I find the customer service staff always friendly and helpful and they have shown some real kindness in the past. I like the fact they aren't like other banks and definitely my experience has been an ethical one. The app causes me issues but apart from that I am happy.

Was at Tesco at 9:30ish, my mum requested the ATM dispensed £20 but the money was taken off her account and not dispensed to her. I then go into Tesco to ask what to do, but they said they don't take responsibility for it so had to call Co-Op bank to help.

We go into the fraud department on call and discuss the situation, hoping someome could help us as that money was crucial as my mum needed to get petrol to go to work the next morning. Person on the call said he couldn't help us and we needed to wait until the morning to call again.

We were stranded there for about 20-30 minutes trying to get help, with no money left for the night and barely any food in.

We needed help, and wasn't given it by Tesco or Co-Op bank. Not good enough.

I had an appointment on Friday 20 January with a Mrs Jane Simonds. It was a ‘sorting out monies for my Dad’. My Dad had passed away last year, and it was coming up to the one year anniversary. Mrs Simonds talked me through everything that needed doing, took time with me, and was incredibly compassionate and showed so much empathy. So whilst doing her job that she’s employed to do, she also went above and beyond personally, listening and talking with me and giving me quality time (which was soooo needed). She made my experience heartwarming to be honest. Lovely to know there are still people out there who care about others and have time to listen. I think you’re brilliant. Thank you, you were lovely😊

My client has been trying to sort my bill out for 3 consecutive days, 60min minimum wait for a 70year old gentleman is awful.
He has been a customer for over 4 decades.

Since the branch in Gloucester closed its very difficult for him.

He has wasted 3 days trying to sort and yet today finally partial payment comes through still incorrect. What a bunch of amateur staff!!

Avoid such amateur banks, go with a reputed bank always!!

Seriously how is a one hour wait time acceptable, I am locked out of my account and the only way I can unlock it is to phone the general number which has a one hour wait time, these people make your local councils helpline look like super stars. I'm on hold at the moment 25 minutes I think time to give up but at least it's given me time to write this review.
