Terrible terrible terrible. My husband and I went to the bank to open a joint account and were told we couldn’t on that day because you have to book an appointment. Fair enough I thought but a bit inconvenient when I have been seen immediately on other occasions. We booked an appointment a few weeks down the line and came in to open the acocunt. I went in during my lunch break believing it would take about 20 mins. OVER AN HOUR LATER the lady was still plugging away on the keyboard and we had to keep asking what was happening. My husbands email address had been entered incorrectly on a previous meeting and it took about twenty minute to put our address in. I don know why it was so complicated. A very tedious draining experience and I rue the day I ever decided to open a joint account at Santander Banstead. You have been warned.
