I am trying to contact NatWest Bank from abroad to question why, despite being told by its Helpful Banking web page entitled "Sending Money Abroad" that I can transfer ANY AMOUNT IN ANY CURRENCY TO ALL COUNTRIES EXCEPT EUROPE for a fee of either £22 (standard) or £30 (urgent), when attempting to transfer a sum exceeding £10,000 to my sterling account outside Europe I am told that the maximum amount in any one transaction is £10,000. I have tried to speak to someone in Natwest but am frustrated by endless ansaphone voices that merely advise me the state of my account, which I am well aware of. The inability to talk to someone is frustrating beyond belief and the apparent misinformation provided is moreso.

NatWest seems to have forgotten how to behave in a business manner. There is no direct telephone link to the branch and promises made by call centre staff to call back at specific times have not been honoured. As two elderly and longstanding customer we are extremely disappointed and frustrated. We wish a specific question to be addressed by a member of staff with a particular competence - we cannot afford to journey to the branch to stand hopefully in-line in the hope of support.

Had to sort out an issue with payments coming out of my account so rang them up. Best customer service I have ever had via phone and from natwest itself. The 28 year old lad, I couldnt remember his name, was very nice and friendly; helped to sort out my issue. :)

Just used Natwest in Salisbury to sort a mortgage for the purchase of our first home and wanted to say thanks. Dan Watkins and Alex Witty both helped handle our application and did so with great humour, friendliness and knowledge – very much appreciated. Thanks again.

Bank Manager (Sean / Sam cant recall name tag) at the Salisbury branch really went the extra mile to get a bank statement issue sorted out for me. Absolute life saver thank you!

My Father went in today at roughly 2pm after having googled the opening times that say they close at 4pm.

The bank had closed at 1pm and they hadn't felt inclined to update their hours on here. I've suggested an edit with the revised hours however it is currently under review.

Went into salusbury branch today with probate grants told can't do anything because I did not bring forms from bereavement services which I never had recieved the man who was dealing with us was about as much use as a chocolate teapot no help at all never smiled hardly never
