Barclays Bank

Ridiculously slow and non efficient. The staff was friendly and helpful but there is ONE MACHINE for the whole bank to deposit money and you cannot go over the counter unless your deposit is more than £4,000.00. Probably the worst Barclays branch I've been to. Made me think if I should actually stay with Barclays for my personal and business accounts because it means that each time I'll need to deposit money it will take me an hour

Most useless bank branch on earth. They have closed most of their counters barring one for high value transactions. They expect all customers to use the one machine for cash deposits. I waited for 20 mins and decided to open a new bank account with Nationwide.

The customer service ladies are polite enough, but it is ridiculous how short of staff they are on a Saturday morning when people are trying to get their stuff sorted.
They are keeping people outside the door and tell them that they are closing at 1:30pm, so even if they got there before then, they won’t be allowed in if it gets to closing time.
All the cashier positions closed and no one around. Absolutely awful!

Very very disappointed.

More than one hour as cue.
As the customer service on 20 of July morning only two they was working.
I am a customer here and as business man none they help me and found too many problems as well in the cash machine inside
Is very shame 😕
And I will probably change bank.....

Not happy at all west my time I lost few customer as there is no signal I side ....

both managers incredibly rude and disgusting only managed to get the name off one of those monsters it’s name is Trisha horrible attitude towards people asking simple questions also threatening to close my bank after calling them useless which is nothing but the truth because i’ve been waiting for around 45 minutes was supposed to be seen to but ignored for another customer i hope this branch closes down both racist and will be contacting head office

Barclays are major investors in fossil fuels. As such, they are guilty of contributing to the climate crisis. Consider switching to another bank.

As many of the Barclays Bank branches have been closed there is long queue in the remaining open branches. They should open more counters and engage more staff to deal with the customers to handle the problem.

Poor customer service. Cannot pay in over the counter if less than £4000, even though the 3 counters open were free. The only way you can deposit in is by one of the machine. The queue wait time is 30mins on average. Cannot believe what the system has turned into, of course, under the guise of C.O.V.I.D. Forcing people with cash to go cashless. This way the bank has more oversight as to where you are spending your money as the cash does not have trace. It's changing the individuals behavior. Truly horrifying.
