Please note there are no cashiers on a Saturday, only machines in the branch. It would be useful to know this on the website as I took lots of change to pay in as just tells you they are open and had to bring it all back again. Service very good during the week though.

Piotr was super helpful and very patient even though I wasn't. Hats of to genuinely good customer service.

Selective service
I went this morning to change twenty pound notes in to fifty pound notes and i was told by the cashier/manager that I couldn't do a straight swope. I have been with the bank for 35 years, very loyal yet it counted for nothing. The insulting part when the cashier/manager/God pretended she wanted to help me by looking into my account and then saying no - again and again pretended to seek authority from a senior staff when in fact she only went inside for a minute. This is not the first time the bank acted awkwardly with me and I am starting to resent that as you can tell from my review. I have partially moved to metro bank in Luton which I highly recommend.

Came in again and seems like just one staff? There are people waiting but no staff? Had to take down another star!
Question to HSBC: Why do you not have enough help here?

Eventually a staff member saw me, but wasn't much help. She was talking financial jargon and before I could understand she went on to asking something else. Had to ask the staff to explain but she seemed like just wanting to deal with things speedily without explaining what she was doing.

Making decisions they have no right to do. They are banking not doctors.
