Banked with Barclays for nearly 30 years and have always been happy with the staff and service. Sadly I’m closing my account because Barclays continues as the largest funder in Europe of new fossil fuel projects around the globe. And this despite claiming to be working on net zero targets. I can no longer be any part of Barclays’ race to destroy our environment, our future living standards and the well being of every living on our Earth

No fault of the staff at the branch but sad to hear that Barclays is continuing to fund new fossil fuel extraction projects. Despite commiting to net zero by 2050 they are continuing to fund new coal mines. ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS. Sad to see they would rather lie than change their polluting greedy behaviour

Switch to a better bank - nationwide, co-op bank and Monzo are all better greener options

Had to wait 60 mins to pay invoice only one counter open in whole bank.. very poor services for a high street barclays .. ruined and wasted my whole morning

I visited this branch a few times in the last month and a half to deposit some money and open up a new ISA. I did run into trouble (my own) and the staff were all really patient and super helpful.

Yes, there may not be as many staff as people point out in reviews and it will vary depending on the time of day, but I've had nothing but good experiences when visiting and wanted to point that out.

Hands down Barclays Watford is the worst bank I have ever used. It's staggering that management don't actually address the wait time issues. Been a business customer of theirs for over 40 years. One counter supposedly for business customers but that's not true. I've had many an argument with staff in this bank regarding wait times while I see staff standing around doing nothing. I could go on all day about how poor this bank is, but the simple truth is they do not care about customers. They don't. Want customers in their premises, everything is designed to pull us away from going to a bank. Sadly they don't realize businesses have a different requirement from individuals. They don't and will not listen which is why I'm moving to another bank. Had enough of this awful bank. The welcome person at front of bank looks scruffy, is wearing trainers, completely un professional, this is not a bank I now trust.The manager needs firing. Shocking shocking

A bank that doesn’t give out money on a Saturday 🤨🤬 Asked to change £20 to coins and they say they couldn’t do it on a Saturday never heard anything more absurd then that

Served by Hema Kachela at Watford Barclays it was a pleasure to be looked after everything was sorted out even app on our phones she is a credit to barclays more staff like hema needed.
