Good afternoon,
I would like to leave feedback about one of your employees from the North Greenwich London brunch.
I went yesterday to the mentioned brunch where I have asked about opening a account, I met Miss Angela Jones for a little while and we had a pleasant conversation about what I need to do. Miss Angela mentioned we can not do it straight away since I need to bring a proof of address, where I asked if I can bring my phone bill. Miss Angela responded with yes and we decided to meet again the next day.
Today, when I came for the appointment I came 20 min early and asked kindly if Miss Angela would be available earlier, she was not. I have waited patently till the time of the appointment came where no one picked me up. While the place was empty I kindly asked if Miss Angela could see me now since I have another appointment this afternoon. She came out clearly annoyed that I have disturbed her in her tasks. After we went in the office I took my ID and bill out. After having a look at both Miss Angela decided to inform me that she can not accept the proof of address I provided.
I don't know if Miss Angela had a bad day or does not like people of polish nationality opening accounts in her brunch but the bill I provided was the one we spoke about the day before. Just to mention, I am a full time worker and speak fluent english. On top of that I had a paper with another proof of my address for my hospital appointment later that day. Miss Angela even did not bother to have a look just explaining this papers are not accepted.
If so, miss Angela did not speak her mind very clearly the day before regarding the phone bill. I wanted this appointment out of my way since I went already the second time to this brunch which to travel to takes me a while. Such bad customer service and a waist of time!
I hope you take into consideration the feedback I left and make steps towards improving the customer service which is very low in my opinion.

Appalling bad experience with this branch's service:

1) They are never reachable on the branch telephone number.
Having tried calling them for 2 weeks straight at different times during the day, I even started wondering if the advertised number is correct. It is correct, they are just that shockingly bad at answering it.

2) Incompetent branch manager.
Eventually after failing to get through them, I requested a call-back via the central phone service, so I can get an appointment. When enquiring about the necessary documents to bring, she missed the most important one. As a result of that my time was wasted in taking a whole morning off work to get there and be told they cannot do anything.

3) Incredibly rude and uninformed staff.
The clerk who met me for the appointment was misinformed about why I was there and had incorrect details about me.
Having clarified the purpose of the appointment, she stated I need an extra document without which she could not help me. As it was highly difficult for me to arrange an appoint and time off work, I suggested an alternative. I asked if I can send the document over an e-mail to the bank staff while we are waiting, so it can be printed out. She showed the utmost reluctancy to accept this as an alternative while being completely dismissive in explaining why this alternative cannot work. During the whole appointment she came across as awfully disrespectful, impolite and lacking any compassion!

The service is so bad & poor in this TSB branch. Me, my wife & my 2 Daughter was in the queue 20 mins to get some money out from the account. It was 3 position behind the counter 3 persons was there & only one lady was serving. One of the guy & other lady was continuously talking between themselves & while I asked them they replied as we are serving you that’s why it’s take long but I can see they just sit & talk & wasting everyone’s time. This is not expected from the customer service prospective. Without apologies the gentleman was been so rude & aggressiveness. @ 13/6/2018 @ 12:50pm.

Absolute shocking experience, i had my driving license, passport and utility bill, all names and addresses correct and bill within last 3 months, but could not withdraw any money, as a manger needs to authorise it and hey are on holiday. So disgusting, will be closing my 3 accounts and encouraging my family to do the same.

I've been so well looked after by Sharon and Anita today. I had some issues with changing my address having forgotten my PIN and needed to make some additional account changes. They were very clear and polite about what they could and couldn't do and made the whole process as painless as they could. I felt really well looked after and would certainly come back to the branch.

needed to open a joint bank account in person on that day, after being refused by the other banks in town as i needed to book an appointment and wait 2 weeks! TSB were happy to and done it there and then with no issues and very friendly service.
I opened another account with them online, and went into the branch to deposit some money, also received a very good service, quick, friendly, and efficient.
For Basic Banking needs they seem like a good bank.

Left tsb few years ago for one or other reasons. Went to the branch to request a simple bank statement for the years I was customer. I was the only customer in the branch, not busy at all. The guy first told me that he CANNOT DO IT, because need to be sent on the home address. Afterward I said that I changed the address and because he couldn’t be bothered to go on the system and change the address he said that actually he can print it for me. Then he continued lying in my face saying that the can’t give from the date I wanted then he said that actually he can. And when was just about to print it he realised that the printer was off and his attitude towards me changed completely. In the end instead of getting statement for year and a half I got for one month.
Extremely do NOT recommend this branch, do not bother to go there you will just waste your time

I've generally had very good service from previous staff but I would watch out for this arrogant lady named Asha. She is very uninformed.

She said they 'definitely' don't print bank statements anymore when I literally came the earlier week to get statements for embassy purposes. When I showed her proof, she only then printed them out for me. Perhaps it was also my fault for not double-checking before I left but she printed the statements in the wrong dates too.
