It is not my closest branch yet I will travel here because of the best customer service experience across about ten branches I was using. Appointments on time and easy to get with reasonable notice, advisors have knowledge and are very helpful and friendly.

Staff is helpful and nice but there is not enought people, I wanted just change my surname by providing marriage certificate, couldn't do it even it was 9 am on Saturday morning and it wasnt busy yet. Anyway they booked me an appointment for next week.
By the way for Lloyds it was not a problem to scan it straigh away.

Takes ages to be seen, not enough face to face staff, all queueing is immediately at the door so it's unorderly, and people are picked seemingly at random instead of the order they arrived.

I am not happy with the way they solve problems ....they don't actually.they use covid excuse for everything. i applied online for a business account 9 weeks ago and still no answer, every time i went to the branch they said they can't help me and at the phone number no one answers. Then the branch closed and the nearest one is at 11 miles ....what happens with all the people that don't use internet and don't drive? We don't have access to our bank.
No happy with them and not happy with the online banking also.

Shock, horror. Hold the front page! I've actually found a place where the staff are pleasant and helpful. And get this, they even approach you with a smile on their face.

I’ve been trying since 17th May to open a saving account for my daughter.
I’ve had no update in almost 2 weeks.

I’ve tried an on-line (in app) chat - this went on from 1329 to 1607hrs with no reply!

I tried calling their 0345 number >>> I was referred to the 24/7 on-line chat.

Awful customer service.

Sadly … the Mansfield branch is now Digital… this means no counter service … which for a Business account holder is Utterly useless … I needed a considerable cash exchange today for till floats … no counter service meant I was sent to the post office , (and they’re on a whole new level of useless).

Turns out (once at post office) there’s a cap on how much I can exchange due to a cash withdrawal limit on my HSBC BUSINESS ACCOUNT, so I had to walk across town , talk to HSBC AGAIN!! Get permission to draw out my money and then walk all the way over to post office .. who then said “we don’t exchange cash notes”

Total waste of my morning … HSBC , the worlds most useless bank .

On the positive side … the TWO staff in there were very pleasant and helpful… although limited to what services they can do … like one of them said “this branch is now just a posh coffee shop” !!

I went into your Mansfield branch on the 14th September & spoke to Julie Page. She went above & beyond to help me. I was then helped by Sashi who was just as helpful as Julie. I'm very impressed by the knowledge & empathy shown to me by both of your colleagues yesterday. Thank you.
