Staff here are always well mannered, professional and supportive, whatever the problem may be they always have a solution.
Staff go the extra mile for customers.
A special thank you to Aida for helping me at the desk, and for going the extra mile to make customers happy.
1) There is no dedicated queue for premier customers.
2) Waiting time: be expected to stand and queue for the service, and be prepared to spend at least 30 mins even there are only three people were in front of you.
3) Do not try to open any account there, even you have already had an account with HSBC. They do not have the service, but you will not be told about this.
4) What they will do is to take your personal information (such as occupation, income, address, how many properties you own, and etc) in front of all other people in the queue, although there are empty rooms available in the branch to ask these information in a private room. I requested to be seated in one of these rooms, rather than standing in the hall. And was rejected.
5) Another round of long waiting. Once they collected all these personal information, they will tell you to wait for a telephone call. (In our case, we waited two weeks for the telephone call and was only told in the telephone that the information in the system was not updated in their system).
6) This means whatever information they took from you was not properly updated in their system at all. I do not know why this branch exist, if they can not even update my personal information in the system (given we have bring over our passport, bills with address, driving licenses.)
Overall, do not waste your time at this branch. I have been with HSBC for almost 20 years and this is the worst ever service I have ever received.
Update: after 2 months of waiting, I was told by the telephone team that they will need to do a fresh application. This means all the documents submitted before was a total waste. In addition, HSBC will do a new credit check, because the previous credit check is no longer valid! Worst ever experience I have ever received from HSBC, all due to the incapable of the branch.
