It is difficult not to use offensive language to describe how bad the service ‘in branch’ or ‘online’ is when you deal with Barclays.
You trust them with your money, but try getting it back when you desperately need it.
They are just deplorable and have no concept of customer care!

The opening hours seemed to be designed to make sure people who do a days work can’t use Barclays during the week. It opens 2 hours after most folk get to work and closes an hour before they leave work. They won’t allow cheques to be deposited over £1k through the app. No wonder they’re shutting branches. They’re never open when people need them.

It is impossible to go to the desks as they force you to do everything on the atm by yourself, today because of this I got my debit card stucked in the machine and had to spend 20 minutes waiting for my card to be returned! It’s a waste of time and as a customer I should be entitled to decide if I want to use the atms or if I want to go to the desks

Alwys having to wait for the desk, even though we ordered our change the day prior.... 20mins wait always.
Wouldn't mind but they alwys have 3/4 staff at the front door abd yet the que gets bigger.... more on the counter please and less at the front

Don't come here on a Saturday at 12, awaiting for my partner as he has had app issues, been here 40min so far just to pay off a credit card, speaking to another lady she had fraud and been estimated a 2h wait, she is 3rd in a queue, her new card didn't work when she was sent it. No refreshments, 4 chairs all full, oh dear. She is thinking of moving to coop. With me.

Called me yesterday to say my cheque could not be processed because it was in somebody else’s name and then couldn’t get through to them, rang the Barclays number today to be told it was a mistake by the branch, but they hadn’t contacted me to tell me it was a mistake.
