Poor service on entry, no willingness to assist.

Though their call centre representative was helpful, for advice on a account held with HSBC.

Massive queue. No staff. Slow service. Young boy on tiny service desk that doesn't know what he is doing.

I had to go into the branch to make a payment as I was unable to make one online. Apparently one cannot set up a new payee unless you are making some sort payment.
Also when making a payment I had difficulty as I did not insert the amount of payment in one of the boxes as I thought it was requesting the currency of the payment. Not only that, one has to insert the amount again after putting your PIN number and the amount after the last 4 digits of the payee account number and then the 6 digit number generated by the gadget.

Tom was an absolute life saver helping me get money fro. a cancelled credit card. professional can-do attitude and I am very grateful. Thanks Tom!!!

Trying to get our daily payment limit raised is like getting blood out of a stone.
We have submitted 2 forms requesting it and heard nothing.

HSBC have sunk £67 billion into gas, coal and oil since the 2015 Paris Climate Agreement. They put profit before life on Earth. Please avoid using this bank.
