Barclays Bank

I have been with Barclays for 35 years. The staff are lovely but unfortunaly they have been reduced to one cashier. Therefore you have to que for ages to use a cashier. What I find more frustrating is that the bank only opens 9.30am-3pm so if you work full time you cannot input any cash or speak to an advisor. It looks like it's time to move banks :-(

Would give zero, but I don't think that's an option. Turned up on Saturday and bank some coins, arrived only to be told there's no cashiers in, and that I am only allowed to bank 5 bags. I was then told to turn up during the week and bank 5 a day or go to the post office and bank 5 with them. I think you forget people work Monday to Friday and you're not open when we finish! What a pathetic bank!

Waited an hour and a half today (an hour waiting outside in the freezing temperatures). I am one of two people who run a business which I’ve had to close the doors to because of how long this simple bank trip has taken me just to get change for my till. ONE counter staff serving, JUST ONE. There’s a que outside of at least 30 people. It’s as if they’ve all given up and not bothering trying to make the service efficient nor fast in any way. Absolutely appalling service espiecally for over 70s stood outside for over an hour!!!

Takes on average a good hour or so to do a simple banking drop for the business I work for in Caerphilly, Whilst at Cwmbran they offer the drop and go service which means im in and out in sometimes less than a few minutes.
asked about this service several times and been told to wait my turn as dorris has her morning chat with the cashier.

No reflection at all on the staff at this branch, but in order to try and prevent catastrophic climate breakdown we must keep fossil fuels in the ground, yet Barclays continues to finance businesses expanding fossil fuel extraction, exploiting new reserves or destroying the ecosystems. Barclays are not taking responsibility for their role in this crisis.

For some reason the opening hrs are 10-2 mon to fri only so if you work full time you will have to book a holiday or time off to vist the last 3 times i went to caerphilly branch they opened at either 1015 or 1030 due to staff training like why cant they do it after hours then they want you to use the cash machine as there is only 1 cashier on site not very customer oriented quite the opposite which is disappointing
