Halifax

Some of the staff can be unhelpful sadly but for a small branch it's convenient in town. It has 3 cashiers, a small waiting area, a couple of private booths, Internet and phone banking and paying in machines.

Took a while to visit in person, it was cold and we were outside for about 20 mins (covid times) but after getting inside, staff were very quick to help.

The opening hours of the Pontypridd branch aren’t great- the times are not convenient for people that work! If you cannot make a weekday, it would be ideal to pop in on a Saturday, but it’s closed. I would love to close all of my accounts with Halifax (which are quite a few) but it’s a lot of extra hassle that I don’t really need or want.

Never had no problems. Staff always friendly.

Why does it seem that the Pontypridd branch is never open? Yiu do realise that some people actually work!!! I'd love to hear your reasons for the ridiculous opening hours??? But I doubt you will provide a reasonable or any explanation.

What's the point of being open till 3 pm 4 days a week, just for the unemployed I guess! Very rarely need To go into the bank but today I did.managed to get there 2 minutes past 3 and the woman said we are shut, customer service not, o and closed on Saturday if you actually have a day off.

I am getting really annoyed with Halifax Pontypridd branch. Holding a blue disabled badge I cannot get through the pedestrian precinct until 3pm when allowed, however this is the same time as Halifax closes! Also since I was able to get through on Thursday only to find the branch closed all day! What is going on as they are not helping their customers, only themselves.
