Barclays Bank

Poor customer service on a Saturday. Staff were not helpful to my query and she was not interested when she found out I don't bank with them. On ringing my own bank , found out I had been wrongly advised. Will not be investing my money in Barclays and will be swapping my wife's bank account from Barclays today,due to the experience. Just because people don't bank with you, treat everyone the same. The average person shares poor customer service with 10 people. Also, many more will read this.

I’ll be leaving very soon due to an individual called Sonya Palmer that can’t handle welsh written letters , foreign names and how does addresses works at foreign countries.
For your information there was no post codes in Ireland until recently so you need to bare with people have patience with those who have less English cause they do have a language problem ! As you could imagine !

She should be dealing with English people only !

I hate writing bad reviews or my day being wrecked like this but I’ve had to get it out of my chest !

Otherwise Barclays has been great and I wanted to move everything within time .

Haven't banked at Barclay for 10 year after previously being with them for 27 years. Poor customer service in the end and a £100 incentive, I moved to TSB (Lloyds at the time), started off great, customer service getting worse as profits become priority over people. When are banks and other greedy corporations going to realise, WE are their bread & butter & jam & lobster & caviar ....
Banks are greedy retards. Greed is NOT good.

Absolutely fantastic service they went above and beyond to help me. Due to covid restrictions and working full time it hasn't been easy sorting out my family's banking needs. The Wrexham branch closed at 2pm and I had an urgent matter that needed to be dealt with the Manager kindly allowed me inside after closing and along with two other staff resolved my problem. I cant thank them enough. They were brilliant.

Horrible service at Barclays Wrexham branch. Got there on a Friday around 3pm after work to deposit a US check and found the branch to be empty of any staff. After a while a member of staff got to me to inform me I would have to come back during the week 9.30-2pm only In order to deposit my check. Has this branch acknowledged the fact that people work??? So now I have to miss a day in work cause they don’t have to staff to help customers?! Total lack of respect for people that work and can’t make it in time to deal with things. What’s the point of having a branch if they can’t deal with their customers? Will have to change bank cause can’t afford to miss days in work every time I need to deal with a bank issue.

And the app to submit cheque into account will not accept all types of
cheques!

spent half an hour chatting to someone online who had no clue about anything to do with banking. whats the point in having an online support chat when WE have to support the employees!

Service desk only open until 2pm. Waste of time trying to do any banking with them middle of the day.
