One of my favorite restaurants in Chester. Lovely views of the canal, amazing and cozy place and yummy food! Shame they stopped serving pies as they were delicious! I want them back! 🥰

Interesting building on the old canal basin. Converted into a great pub. Staff are great, friendly and knowledgeable. If they don't know they find out.

Food is good and not outrageously priced. Pastas come in two sizes, if you're having a starter might be better with the small. (Which is like a normal plate in some other places).

Selection of beers is good too. Huge range of spirits on the bar back. All are reasonably priced.

Amazing place! From the outside it looks average, but go inside! The interior is amazing and very characteristic! Excellent!

Excellent selection of bottled beers and a fair few on tap to satisfy your curiosity. Tables outside next to the canal compliment inside seating.

Booked a table for 7.30pm for food, drinks and quiz. The pub itself is nice, situated right next to the canal. Food was good, generous portions. We were served by a friendly and efficient waitress without too much of a wait between courses. Gluten free options are available. The quiz is obviously very popular as it got pretty busy but was good fun. Would recommend.

Good place for a midday meal and a beer. Good selection of both. Outside space alongside canal basin is gorgeous on a nice sunny day. Good atmosphere in an old warehouse tastefully decorated. day we went they where a bit short on staff and the place was busy.

Absolutely delicious broccoli and pecorino soup served with tasty fresh bread and butter. Friendly staff, reasonable prices and lovely setting on the canal.
