Deja Vu Garden

As a foodie, I eat everything and anything so I'm very good at trying out anything edible. As I've recently had Bulgarian food (by an acquaintance) within the past week and loved it, decided to try out this restaurant but I was very disappointed. From the moment I walked in and saw the cold, grumpy and unfriendly staff I wanted to walk out but I was very hungry and really wanted more Bulgarian food based on good experience elsewhere.

The starter was the worst type of calamari I ever had as it was soggy and very bland. If you know me, you know nothing comes between my seafood and I especially calamari. While starter was very bad, the main course was disgusting I swear. The rice that came with my food tasted like vomit (no lie). Overall it was a horrible trip ill never make there again and won't even recommend the place to my worst enemy. Avoid!!!

Deja Vu Garden is an amazing place with great food,fresh and good quality. I can also say that I met new staff member very professional and friendly. Tonight Maria was a great host, her service was perfect. Well done, Maria for representing Deja Vu Garden with such a high standard service.

We have made reservation for birthday for yesterday (Thursday) the venue supposed to work until 1am . Unfortunately the waitress explained to us that at 23:30 we need to be out. They stop the music at 23:00. When we ask why they close so early and she explained us that when doesn’t have many people they close earlier. Alright but what we are ? Animals ? We have three tables with 10 people. Have other 2 table with 3 persons on each. When I ask why nobody explain this when we make the reservation she just reply to me “sorry”.

It’s not sorry. If you suppose to close at 1:00 you do it at 1:00.

Ridiculous explanation!

And the way you respond to your customer here. It’s absolutely stupid for business owner. Instead to try to make this customer with low reviews to you to make come back, you starting to explain them how the problem it’s coming from them not from your service 😅

Definitely not gonna go back.

How the venue work before the changes was 1000 ways better then now!

Great atmosphere. Feels like a different part of Europe. Cool interior. Prompt service. Good drinks and sheesha. Good location.

Lovely food! Chicken shish was amazing! Cocktails were lovely, taste like they actually contain alcohol (not a lot of places do) definitely recommend if you’re looking for a welcoming, cosy and friendly environment with good food and drinks! P.S their espresso martini is insane 😍

Was there for the first time and the last. We ordered several starters and main course they all came at the same time and by the time we finished our starters our main course was cold. Also ordered mojito and came warm with a few cubes of ice and glass full of strawberries. Our lamb chops was quite well cooked, with no taste also burned around the edges I could see the charcoal. And salad with no dressing and any effort was chopped in literally in four slices and just thrown in there with a half a jar of olives. We are very disappointed plus paid service charge and left. Only good thing about this place is that they have a posh looking setting with a club like loud music. Such a shame. Wont go back
