The Martin Inn

Stopped at this Pub on our way down the canal and were only going to stay for a couple of drinks. The real ale was nice and very good value. After a few we thought we'd better have something to eat. I decided to have the sausage and mash and when I went to order was asked if I wanted a smaller portion which was 2 sausages instead of 4. I decided 2 would be enough and when it arrived it was a "me size" portion and at £4.95 was excellent value and very tasty. My partner had the burger and chips which was good value at £8.95 and tasty. The chips were nice as well.
The staff were all helpful and cheerful and remembered what we were drinking which is a unusual these days.
We will be calling here again.

Great food very reasonable, lovely staff and draft ales.. and a bonus they even let us bring our dog in.. fantastic place ..
