Unfortunately, the food was pretty terrible and overpriced - based on what we ordered I'd give it 2 stars. But the bar / pub itself is fairly nice, if you like huge screens everywhere (showing football when we were there). The Village Hotel app had some great offers - eg £3.25 for a pint, or £4.25 for a pint and a half (in a massive pint-and-a-half glass, which I'd not seen before). Overall, decent for a drink watching football / TV, but not to eat.

Rooms are lovely here, and the bar has a good atmosphere. Decent selection of lager The food is very average. Burgers are pretty decent, but the steak...not so much. Good for a night out though.

The food is so overpriced for what you get, portion size and quality. Even with gym discount. Will just go for drinks in future :( lovely place otherwise, staff lovely too!

It's ok, nothing amazing, but not terrible. Basic menu, basic food. Not cheap. If your into sport then this is the place for you.

Staff is nice. Food is low quality for the expensive price. Wings are not well dressed so therefore bland also they were cold. Burgers need more sauce which they provided more mayonnaise for. Low quality food for the expensive price.

Great food and beer. The Staff are very friendly and provide a great service. Gym members get a good discount!

The place looks good. There is a mix of people just drinking and people having meals. But they didn't seem to know about our reservation. Then they spilt our drinks all over me/ my bag/ table - I was absolutely soaked and no offer of the drinks being free (although the guy was very apologetic). Food was decent (burgers) but coleslaw was awful. Queue to order took a while - download the app to avoid this. Overall an OK experience.

What a nice place ,staff were friendly and helpful and the food was lush as my daughter says. In all very good 👍
