Had a good time here. Food was good. Halloumi fries were beautiful. Whole meal was great. Emily was great from the moment we entered. A table was reserved for us, my partner has a disability. Plenty of room to get around. Service was quick and efficient. Always smiling and helpful. Will definitely be back.

Not great Ramon noodles were bland and we returned them for a refund, more flavour in super noodles, staff apologised but in a pub that was quiet anyway the kitchen was a disappointment.. we have eaten before and the food was far better so possibly just a bad night but when you are paying £15 for a bowl of warm tasteless noodle soup it puts you off returning ☹️

Poor. We always go there for special occasions for fillet steak. On this occasion the steak was barely warm along with the rest of the meal. This was sent back and brought back much the same! This was reported to the staff who apologised. When we went to pay I had to ask if THEY were going to ask how it was. Which, when prompted he did. I said poor to say the least, not worth the money. At which point he said "the head chef cooked that"! So £78.26 later.....that'll be the last time we visit.

If I could put a zero star I would. My friend took me for a birthday meal and even though the "head chef" supposedly cook it we were both very disappointed. We both had fillet steak when it came the fillet was hardly warm so I told the fellow that served us and he took it to be blasted in the oven. When it came back to me it was still only warm waste of time. When the fellow came to ask was the meal OK we said no very disappointing so off he went. When my friend went to pay the fellow who took the payment had to be prompted to ask us how the meal was when we told him he never even offered part of the payment back he couldn't have cared less. We always go for special occasions ie birthdays and the like but needless to say that will be the last time we frequent there. RUBBISH

I visited the townhouse for a Christmas meal. Although is was extremely busy with several work parties, staff were attentive and friendly. The drinks are reasonably priced and the bar/restaurant has some lovely decorations. The pasta was slightly bland but it can only be expected when the restaurant is so busy and kitchen is focussing on Christmas meals. I would definitely visit here again
