Very cozy place. Friendly service. Had some nice Llangollen Beer on draft. Would recommend if in the area for a pint.

A fantastic old pub watch your head. Years ago when staying with my aunt Lilliah and uncle Cad, would walk there and sit at the back with a 1/2 door to the back bar. My fathers Wake was there still fantastic

Unfortunately The Sun is still closed. The new owner told us he hopes to be operating in a couple of weeks (towards the end of October 2022)
The previous owner/manager never managed to get the establishment open in the year or so that he had it and apparently 'did a runner'! Let's hope the new owners have more luck.
When it was open it was a charming little village pub - friendly and welcoming.

Loved meeting the new owner, but be warned that it's not open yet. He said it will be open late October...hope so because it's a lovely country pub and well worth the trip out. See yah soon.

Pleasant and made to feel welcome

It's okay for now, next time we visit, we trust, it'll be amazing!
Cracking old pub, at the hub of a small community, very experienced ownership, and done brilliantly well to get it up and running. We were the only ones to pop in, glad we did, gave us chance to meet the canine family!! (Lol)

Brilliant little pub glad it's back open.

This was our second visit to the sun Inn and it will not be our last.
The new owners Jonathan and carol work perfect as was the food and the atmosphere.
We will be back soon.
