The Castle Inn

Lovely little pub. The food was very good but what made it especially great was the excellent service from the friendly bar staff. Absolute must if you're dining/drinking in Monmouth. I will be coming back the next time I'm passing through.

Wonderful Atmosphere and stunning food! Staff were amazing and had a great selection of draught beer! The garden had a great vibe and a staff member brought treats for our dog! The food was well presented and excellent value for money! Also a chef that new how to cook! The grill aroma will have you hungry in no time and well worth it👌Visiting Monmouth First point of call for food👍

Another fabulous Meal at the castle inn. My family and I really enjoyed our steak meals, lovely wine and desserts. Staff were very attentive and there’s a lovely atmosphere the pub. Thank you … we’ll be back soon. :)

A really good meal, tasty and good quality, service was friendly and efficient. The cider was extra good too. Next time we visit Monmouth we will visit again.

By far one of the best pubs I have ever been to in my life. It's quite small but the hospitality it top notch. The bartenders are very friendly, the food is absolutely amazing and the bar is dog friendly. I will definately visit again when! Keep up the good service! It's a hidden gem in this lovely town.

Visited Wednesday for the steak night - nice seat by the window. My wife upgraded to the sirloin and I had the standard rump. Bottle of wine went down well and so did the food. Managed to eat dessert as well. Couldn't fault it - good service and nice atmosphere. Thanks guys.

Very cosy place well worth a visit. Super friendly staff and good honest food at a reasonable price. Slightly old fashioned genuine vibe that offers something away from the chain experiences. Thanks guys

Great little bar/restaurant. Staff are all very happy and friendly and it's the cheapest place I found so far in Monmouth. And they sell a good pint or Madri 👌
