I’ve recently changed to a lash lift because of the on off lockdowns. As always Hannah did a great job, the lift exceeded my expectations.
I would highly recommend this business.
I purchased a service to get my lips filled, on my 5 day visit back to Fleet from California, and unfortunately soon after arriving to the UK, was prescribed antibiotics for an infection that I came down with.
Now as the booking states, if you have an infection then you cannot get the treatment done, and it also states that the business understands that emergencies happen and things do arise, and that they would do their best to accommodate. I completely understand having a situation where a deposit is required upon booking and then not receiving the deposit back when cancelling, however with the service that I had purchased, it was a pay in full upon booking.
Because the reasoning was medical to not be able to attend my initial appointment, and being told by the business that I cannot receive the treatment just before flying, this meant that I could not receive the treatment at all, and was told that I could not receive a refund for this paid in full service of around £150, which is a lot of money to lose.
I was told that I can either use the service another time in the future, or gift it to a friend. Whilst I appreciate this, good customer service would be to accommodate (as stated in the booking terms would happen) and perhaps consider a refund for a paid in full service that couldn’t happen due to medical reasons, and the fact that I live across the world and can’t just rebook for a few weeks time. I don’t have any plans of coming back to England any time soon, so rebooking for the future is not beneficial to me at this time.
Lastly, the booking terms states that the reasoning of no refund is due to not being able to fill an appointment with short notice. However, I had asked whether I could use the money that I had paid towards lip filler and receive another service such as eyelashes, to which I was told that there is no availability left, so in this instance I believe that a refund is not going too much out of the way, or even half the price of the service/keeping a deposit amount and sending the remainder back to me.
I am a bit disappointed, as I was expecting great customer service as I had read many great reviews before and I’m sure the actual services are great. However, customer service goes a long way and due to the way that this situation was handled, I won’t be coming to this business, rebooking anything, or recommending the business to my friends who were previously interested, that I would hate to have the same situation happen to.
I would let it slide if it was a deposit amount, however £150 is a lot of money to keep from someone for a medical reason. They have also unfollowed me on social media when messaging to ask for a refund, so that I now appear in their message requests and don’t ‘see’ any future messages from me.
I done my eyelash extensions and It was a really good experience that will definitely be repeated. She is a really nice polite lady and she is a professional at her job!! I will definitely use Hannah’licious Beauty and Aesthetics again.
