Amazing service

I have been going to Christie at aura beauty for years she always makes me feel so welcome and comfortable during my treatments. Her nails/nail designs are amazing her attention to detail is fantastic.
Her facials are super relaxing and your skin is absolutely glowing after the treatment.
I have also had my make up dine for a wedding I was going to by Christie I am not the most confident person with make up and I never wear to much, the finished look was spot on. I can not recommend Aura Beauty enough. Xxx

I recommend this salon 💯 Very professional and relaxing atmosphere. I have been using Christie’s salon since she opened over 10 years ago and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. First class treatments that will make you want to go back for more!

I was so hoping this was going to be a good experience because of how handy and convenient the salon is being in my gym.

Went along for a “curly blow dry” and what I received was a poker straight blow dry which was then curled using wide straighteners.

This was accompanied by complaints that “your hair won’t hold a blow dry” when in fact I have them pretty much weekly and they hold for a good week, and that my bangs were “too thin to style” - my usual stylists don’t have any issues, and also that if I was her friend or sister (I mentioned who usually does my hair) I wouldn’t be allowed to have long hair still.

Add to this the persistent pulling during washing, thin tooth combing whilst still in the basin and pulling whilst blow drying and curling it was the worst blow dry experience I have ever had and doubt I’ll be back any time soon.

Don’t get me wrong it didn’t look horrible but I could have done the same at home - which I then had to basically do when I got home making me run late getting ready for my Christmas party - as well as a waste of time and money and a throbbing head.

It might be my hair, it’s waist length thick and naturally wavy but I’ve never had this issue anywhere else.

The best cut and colour I have had in a long time. Carmen was professional/ knowledgeable and has definitely saved my very damaged hair.
Couldn’t recommend enough!
