Relaxing environment with a luxury feel.
Had several waxings there and would recommend any of the staff members.

I know others who have had manicures, body polish, massages. Good feedback from all.

If you are in the area and you have tried it, I would give them a go.

Great experience, had a spray tan with Emma & she put me at my ease straight away, despite my feeling a bit self-conscious! She was very thorough and I ended up with a lovely glow. She gave lots of good advice about skincare, too. Would recommend!

I have used the Retreat for many years but I do feel it is not the standard it used to be, sadly. First up, their website has been down for months meaning you must call - and leave a message on an answerphone - to get an appointment. A bit of hassle. I recently went for both a manicure and pedicure ahead of my holiday and the price of theirs is comparable to central London ones I get. I was asked to choose a colour whilst waiting but there are no swatches to see, only the polish bottles, which makes the colours hard to determine and is different from most salons that seem to have swatches. I had an early morning appointment and was seen nearly 20 minutes late. No problem with that but there was no apology. We used to be offered a coffee but this seems to have stopped too. I was pleased with my nails and the treatment itself and friendly staff, but found the whole salon rather dirty - there were crumbs on two of the sofas in the waiting area and the floor in the waiting area hadn't been vacuumed for sometime. This seems odd to be in this state as it was early morning. It was the same in the treatment room. I ended up with dirt on my bare feet when moving about and even a dead fly down there. Just didn't feel very clean so I am not sure I will be returning. I understand the pandemic has made it hard for the salon to invest, but there is no excuse not to vacuum. It used to be a luxurious experience but didn't feel like it this time.

Stephanie was amazing! Love my nails and feet and she was very patient when I messed up my nails a couple of times. Will definitely come back to see her! Receptionist was so kind and awesome. Everyone knew what they were doing and the decor is super cute!

I have only used this place once as given a gift voucher as a present I had the salt rub and up body massage very good service and as been given a voucher again I can not wait to use it and been looking forward to seeing new website

Wouldn't recommend buying gift vouchers. My friend purchased vouchers for my birthday and they were not honoured after lockdown. Did not get a response to messages left when they were closed and it was conveniently too late to use the vouchers when I did get a response.. disappointing
