I went into today and thought I would get my nails done as well as my eyebrows. The lady that welcomed me in was lovely. I sat down at the nail desk with a lady, showed her the nails i liked and she said that was fine so started prepping. I do gel nails myself but fancied a change with acrylic. About 5 minutes into the treatment she nicked my skin while cutting my cuticles which is fine, it was only a small cut. She did not wipe it, change her gloves or wipe the equipment. She went onto the next nail and cut it again but this time more than a little nick. It began bleeding instantly and it hurt. She did not apologise. She started buffing the nails before wiping any of the blood from my now (2) bleeding fingers. She tried to buff the finger that she had cut at that point I told her to stop as I wasn’t willing to get an infection from applying acrylic over the cut. She still did not apologise, she got up and walked over to her colleagues before I had even chance to put my coat on. One of the ladies that i’ve had my eyebrows done by before did apologise which i appreciate, and asked to see the cut. I told her it was ok, but i just wasn’t going to risk an infection from this. She apologised again. The lady that was doing my nails still didn’t apologise upon me leaving the salon. I do normally go here for my eyebrows but sadly won’t be returning after this awful experience.
Absolute despicable customer service!
I have been coming for years to this shop for my eyebrows waxed.
My mum went a few weeks ago and was unhappy with her treatment and the member of staff who did it. They dropped hot wax into her hair (bare in mind this has happened on a few occasions, but she never said anything) and the lady who did the treatment was very rough, didn’t put on after care treatment when she had finished. Didn’t even offer a mirror so she could see what she had done!
My mum then complained as she was unhappy with their service. As a customer you have the right to complain when something isn’t of quality!
I then went into store today, to be told that I am barred from the shop!?!?!
For something i haven’t done! I wasn’t even there!
Their protocol must be if one customer complains then the whole family and friends who use the salon get bared too!
Whatever happened to customers being able to put a complaint in!
