The Hair and Beauty Room Oundle

They were amazing. I had a wash, cut and blow dry. The lady cutting my hair did a great job and was very accommodating to what I had in mind.

I went for quick express lashes to wear for my holiday. I swam in the sea, in the pool, had a facial, drank too much and cried. They stayed on!!! The proof of the pudding is in the eating and this was a super pudding. However, not only was the treatment very effective, the therapist was engaging, knowledgeable, helpful and funny. The price was competitive, I was not kept waiting. I was offered refreshments. All in all a very good, professional and competent service. Best of all, I overheard the therapist giving full and frank advice to a young girl who had long, beautiful dark hair who wanted a very severe colour treatment. The therapist explained that it would take several treatments with lots of toner to prevent it going brassy, and explained that she was not prepared to do it in one go because she (the hairdresser) didn't want to be the one to ruin her hair just to get the business. I trust people like that.

This beauty salon was amazing. Professional and friendly staff, very clean and decorated well, pricing is competitive too. I will be making the commute from Stamford to here for my future services. That includes hair, nails, waxing, brow services, etc.

Keeley did a fabulous job of colouring, cutting and taming my wild, thick frizzy hair. She explained what colour and cut is best suited to my hair type. Considering she had to deal with a very obnoxious and disrespectful American woman before me, I was surprised how calm and composed she remained. Would highly recommend.

Was in between 2 or 3 stars, decided to give them the benefit of the doubt since the hairstylist had me come in again to try and blend the color in more. The hairstylist was rude and pulled on my hair all throughout both sessions, even after asking her to be more gentle. Even rinsing out my hair was painful.

But that's besides the point. Both the haircut and hair color were not what I asked for. I was on the brink of tears by how bad it looked. She didn't seem to care though and just wanted me to pay. If she couldn't get the color I wanted from my dark hair then she should've just said that from the beginning. But the haircut was just as bad and doesn't have much of an excuse.

Loved it. Light and airy, excellent hair cut. Felt comfortable and safe with all the Covid health and safety measures in place. Recommended.

Interior decor needs updating. Treatments are very good.
