Emergency prescription sent by fax from out of hours Dr’s to boost Holton Road Barry on a Sunday. They don’t even answer their phones normal week days ! So no chance on a Sunday to check if prescription has been received. Customer care team cannot also get through , they apparently sent an email to them but told me it could take 72 hours for them to get back to me ! Let’s hope I’m not dead from the infection that I need this medication for !!!

I have my prescription collected but when i go to collect it i can be in the queue a long time even if there are only a few people in front of me. They forget to collect it from surgery sometimes and have had to give me emergency medication. They need to sort it out

I ordered my parcel almost one month ago to be delivered to my local store, my local store is always closed, never answers the phone. I’ve had no emails regarding my parcel worth over £100 so rang head office this morning who kindly informed me my parcel had been lost! Not having a replacement or email regarding my parcel is terrible customer service, further more can’t receive my refund from boots as was bought via PayPal so was informed to contact them who have opened a case. So I’m £100 down currently and have no parcel! Thanks boots for a huge company you’ve been fab! NOT!

Bit expensive long queue like most phamacies. Nice to have a big name still on Holton Road.

Store needs a face-lift.Still has the regular boots items for sale but not much choice.

Absolutely appalling experience. I was fourth in queue to pick up important prescription for mother-in-law. Waited nearly an hour to be served. One customer was with the only assistant for twenty-five minutes! When eventually served I was told that the medicine was not in stock but would be in within 24 hours and I would receive a text message. No text message arrived. Tried phoning the number I was given but nobody bothered to answer and eventually received a message saying that store could not answer my call. I really expect better from a national company like Boots. Will avoid like the plague from now on. Management seriously needs to review their customer service policy and it’s implementation.

Worst chemist. Refuses to answer phone, just takes it off hook. Messes prescriptions up
CONSTANTLY so u rarely ever get them when they're actually due, they split them up so you're always back and fore they're rude, and seem to not be capable of doing their job.

Queue but staff helpful and polite in some quite difficult situations. Credit to chap o Pharmacy counter didn't stop.
