I stayed here for one night to break my journey from Edinburgh to London and am really glad I did - this is a gem of a place!
It has a real feel of quality and I cannot recommend highly enough.
This is a place that is very obviously loved by the owners and I would very happily return here!
Big thumbs up :-)

Rooms are decorated to a very high standard, very clean and good amenities. Teas and coffees are in a proper China dispenser and not a box, little subtle touches of elegance make the experience worthwhile and the breakfast was very tasty, with good service from Jackie, Sam and other members of staff. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for the weekend as we were visiting family in Chorley Can't fault it at all ! It's situated near the town centre which you could walk into .Rooms lovely, breakfast absolutely brilliant. We had a room on the first floor which was lovely, but unfortunately we had a family with small children above us and yes we did hear them. We did mention it and a lovely woman called Lavinia moved us to another beautiful room called the garden room . It was fabulous!! Thankyou to you all . We will definitely be staying here again

Wonderful stay
Room was lovely and clean, I particularly liked the ‘no sachet’ policy! Jackie was very friendly and accommodating during this difficult time. I would stay again without hesitation.

I set my check-in for 2pm and upon arrival at 3:15 the room was not ready. I had a business meeting and needed access to the room. I left for my meeting and when I returned at 6, the room was still not locked and ready for me. I also never received towels, so could not dry hands or shower.

The room itself had torn drapes which did not completely cover the window, a large carpet burn, and a deadbolt lock that did not work. There was no refrigerator for personal items and the bedding smelled too strongly of detergent as if they were overly washed and irritated my skin.

The entire stay I had the strong impression that people actually live there and are sharing the space with short stay guests. Very uncomfortable overall.

Great weekend stay in Chorley. I didn't want to stay in the "proper" hotels along the main road to the north and south of the city because they are too far away from the center, so I found these rooms. They have large, clean, basic rooms just a short walk to the center. Wi-Fi is included. You can come and go as you please, without hassle. Make friends with the nice house pooch when you arrive. They may have the wrong phone number posted on Google for this place.
