Parr Hall Farm

I booked all the rooms for our wedding which was at The Plough at Euxton only 2 miles away, so this farmhouse was ideal for travelling family and friends. Very welcoming, accommodating and helpful throughout. Clean rooms and beautiful scenery. They even gave us fizz & chocolates with a congrats card, very personal touch. Thank you Kate, from the new Mr & Mrs Horrocks.

Highly recommend this lovely b&b in an idyllic setting with one of the nicest continental breakfasts we've had. Fridges in the rooms with supplies together with fruit and cereal. A separate communal area with additional supplies including fresh milk, fresh fruits, yoghurts, bread for toast, real butter, jams, honey and more. Highly recommended! While in the area try out Travellers Rest Euxton, another amazing find if you like quality food, friendly staff and pleasant surroundings both inside and out ! x

Family run business. They took a late in the day , last minute booking. Very well priced. Nice location with pub and church nearby.
Went above and beyond to help me with a issue post check out. Exemplary customer service that is hard to find these days.

Was able to book at last minute. Very large ensuite room and lashings of hot water in an enormous bath. Very large carpark out if sight of the main road. Hosts very pleasant. Breakfast items left in the room with milk etc. Being Covid aware. Excellent linen.

It's the perfect location. Who would believe this place is not far from Preston centre .
It's really peaceful. Comfy and clean.
All different types of rooms, some have baths . Some are twin beds and family rooms ..
Will definitely be back ..

My family have just returned from a wedding stay over at Parr Hall Farm. Unfortunately our visit was tainted due to the owner being quite rude to the bride on the morning of our wedding. We booked several rooms, 2 of which were next to each other. On the night before the Bride to be slept in one room and a bridesmaid sleep in the other. The plan was that on the wedding night myself and the bride would sleep in one of these and 2 of our children would take the room that the bridesmaid was in. Whilst the bride and bridesmaids were having makeup and hair done the owner abruptly told them to get out of the room as they needed to restock it as children were staying in it that night. The bride advised that it was her children and that it was ok as she was in the middle of getting her makeup done for the big day. However the owner was adamant that they had to vacate the room We feel that the owner dealt with this all in a very unfriendly manner and not acknowledging that the situation was stressful enough for the bride as it was.
Other negatives were that there was no cooked breakfast which for the price of the rooms should be provided. The reason is that Covid restrictions means that the dining area can't be opened when I am sure the restrictions are now lifted. If not then possibly a food order form which could be handed in the night before and breakfast then provided to the rooms in the morning may be a good idea
The positives were that it was clean, good tea and coffee amenities and had pleasant en suite bathrooms. A nice wedding card and bottle were waiting in the room which was a nice touch.
The rating would be higher if my now wife hadn't been spoken to so abruptly on the morning of her big day.

It was been great to be here to experience the hospitality. Thank you, we had a great time. Will be visiting again. The stay was better than expected. Very quiet to rest after the long drive from London.
