We stayed for one night and that was enough. Slept terribly, not due to the road, but due to the noise within the property. Guests were generally quiet but soundproofing is poor from both the room above and the room next door. Hearing other guests snoring and just moving around...??! And flushing the toilet, and running the tap too... Really not great. Noise from kitchen. Outside of property smarter then inside. Rooms basic (which is fine in itself) but in need of TLC. Cracked mirror, cracked toilet cistern, missing light bulbs, flaking wall paper, doors creaking. SMALL. I am slim ( 8 stoner) but was squeezing around. Shower a problem for 6 foot husband who had to duck to use it. No table free for us at breakfast (not enough tables for number of guests staying????), and when we did finally get a seat, breakfast was average - greasy, cheap sausages. Staff were polite but usual staff We're away apparently? Close to amenities. Sorry but won't recommend or stay again.

Very disappointed with this bed and breakfast as they charge extra for the breakfast. It should be advertised as "room only". We paid £149 for 2 nights in a ground floor small twin room with very small shower room. The room faced onto a noisy main road. Not good value for money. The only saving grace is the young woman who works in the place. Nice helpful manner.

Rather a lot of CCTV cameras of differing eras attached to the front of the property. I'm certain the proprietors and their guests must feel very assured that any would be intuders or ne'er do well's are deterred from their ways by this hefty display of surveillance.

Lovely as it was, I found somewhere else to stay though.

Booked here to stay for 3 nights while visiting relatives in Ashford. Booking was for bed and breakfast but when we arrived we were handed a list of local cafes that serve breakfast as it wasn’t available. Not good. Then we opened the room, the floor was filthy and there was even a toenail under the bed - disgusting at any time and especially so in the current circumstances. The room was really noisy and we had a terrible night’s sleep. In the morning there was nobody around to speak to so we went out for the day. When we returned in the afternoon the cleaners had been in but the room was still filthy and the toenail was still there. We decided that the best thing to do was to leave. The manager did speak to us but by that stage it was too late, there was no way we were going to spend another night there.
It isn’t cheap enough to be forgivable, no idea where the glowing reviews are from. Avoid!

Good practical facilities if a bit tired. Take care in room 2 as bathroom has 2 steps which caught me out a few times. Noisy children in hallway until late evening.

Absolutely terrible experience, upon arrival the room had just been “cleaned”, there were dust particles EVERYWHERE. The bathroom was filthy and had water leaking from behind the toilet. The beds were AWFUL. It was like sleeping on bricks. Not comfortable at all and the sheets weren’t clean. Horrific experience.

Absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stay in. They refuse to return phone calls. They refuse to refund and booking.com refuse to accept the negative review I posted. Noisy area, terrible permanent residents who do not care about other people sleeping. Less than 3hrs sleep and I am unable to talk to anyone about this poor service and awful hotel. I would advise anyone to avoid this at all costs.

Not even worth 1 star!
Not a B&B just a B (no breakfast) and the B is for brick…. The beds are extremely uncomfortable, the room was dirty.
Avoid at all costs.
We honestly ran out early the following morning.
