Lovely guest house, great location, amazing views. Ben and Virginia were very friendly and welcoming. Their daughters were absolutely amazing playing with our 1-year old.
Breakfast was delicious and plenty to choose from.
Would definitely recommend.

Lovely people, convenient location, delicious breakfast (accommodating any diet), and great experience. Ouse Bridge House was our first B&B experience and it exceeded our expectations. Ben and Virginia are very kind people with a beautiful family and pup Rocky, and we felt instantly welcome.

We booked the bedroom with the separate bathroom right across the hall. I was a little hesitant about it when booking, but I shouldn't have been. We had plenty of privacy and we were the only guests who could access it.

We hope to visit Lake District again, and when we do, we will stay here!

Lovely guest house in a great location. We stayed here for a wedding reception at Armathwaite Hall and the owner of the guest house very kindly gave us a lift to the hall the following morning so I could collect my car. Rooms very comfortable and breakfast excellent. We would definitely book here again.

Stayed 3 nights in this lovely, homely guest house with our 8 month old puppy GSD in tow! Such a great and calming atmosphere and great it is family run too. Nothing is too much trouble. The food was fantastic and locally sourced. The view from our room was beautiful and such a perfect setting. Lots to see and do in the area too. Our pup loved it, loved their girls and all the great walks in the woods and swimming in The Lakes. Definitely going back again soon. Totally recommended. The retreats here sound great too!

A real home from home! I had such a lovely weekend staying at Ouse Bridge House and cannot recommend it enough! Virginia, Ben and their beautiful girls were so welcoming, friendly and accommodating. They made myself and my puppy Rita feel extra special. The house is spotless and the food was lovely, they even gave Rita some sausage which she loved! They always had a smile on their faces and even though I travelled solo, I never felt alone here! The house is in a beautiful location right next to the lake, within walking distance of the pub (very important!). I look forward to returning in the future and meeting your new addition to the family, thank you so much for everything! Lucy and Rita xx

We have just spent two nights in the guest house. The hosts were lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. The room was spotless, the breakfast was amazing with plenty of choices. We brought our dog Cookie along with us and he had sausage for breakfast both mornings. We will definitely be back.
