Had a fantastic welcome after a long walk that day, with a great roast dinner made for us in the evening. We found the beds comfortable and the room clean, with a nice private living space next door. All of our needs were taken care of with a delicious full English breakfast when we woke up. Brilliant stay and would highly recommend.

'I could do the Hadrian's Wall Walk just to stay at Greenacres again' This was the perfect B&B to recover after a long day. Me and my two other friends stayed at Greenacres while doing the Hadrian's Wall walk. When we arrived, Sally was waiting with tea and a basket for our soaked hiking boots. She even made the extra effort to get us dairy-free milk for the tea. The breakfast was delicious (again accommodated for our dietary requirements) and I felt ready for another long walk. We had the ambitious goal of completing the hike in 4 days and I honestly think I managed to do it only because of how calming and cosy Greenacres is - we could really see how well Sally looks after this place. I couldn't possibly recommend this B&B enough. Thank you for taking care of us after a long hike!

Sally is the friendliest host ever. The accommodations are super. The full English breakfast was piping hot. It’s also very, very close to the path. It will be hard to top this restful spot!

Walking the wall, this was an unexpected luxury! The B+B was a actually a section of the house with its own private living area and bathroom.
Sally is a wonderful host who provided excellent meals (regular and vegan) which were among the best on our whole trip.
I cannot overstate how enjoyable this stay was. Make Greenacres a must-stay part of your wall plan!
